Your Skin but Better Foundation + Skincare.
IT cosmetics recently launched a new foundation which is Your Skin but Better Foundation + Skincare. I really love the IT Cosmetics CC cream, and I have been a fan for a long time. I was so excited when IT Cosmetics announced the Skin But Better Foundation+ Skincare.
Key benefits of the foundation:
- Skincare infused foundation delivers a better-looking complexion instantly and better bare skin
- Micro-fine pearl powder provides a natural radiant finish while lightweight formula delivers all-day hydration
- Medium, buildable makes it easy to customise your makeup look
- Suitable for all skin types and infused with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera extract, vitamins E & B5 and hepes acid
Key ingredients:
Hyaluronic Acid & Aloe Vera Extract: Instantly hydrate and smooth the look of skin
Vitamins E & B5: Moisturize the skin and fight free radicals to help strengthen the skin barrier
Hepes Acid: Gently exfoliates for a brighter-looking complexion
The foundation has skin loving ingredients. The foundation instantly improves the look of skin by minimising the look of pores and imperfections while delivering all-day hydration and wear with a natural radiant finish. Suitable for all skin types.

Shade range:
The foundation comes in 40 shades and comes in 3 undertones.

I was sent three shades which are Medium Neutral 33, Tan warm 41 and Tan Cool 40. The shade medium neutral 33 is my closest shade. With a concealer I was able to make the shade work. The undertone was a bit off as I have yellow undertone. Therefore, I loved the shade Tan Warm 41 undertone. It’s a tiny bit darker, it’s going to be my perfect Summer shade. I need to pick up the shade 32 warm or 35 warm. In the CC cream I am the shade Medium.
It is also worth noting that the CC cream comes in 12 shades whilst the Your Skin But Better Foundation comes in 40 different shades. There is a shade for everyone.

Packaging:
The foundation has a sleek glass packaging and has a pump. I love foundations that have a pump.
Retail price:
The foundation retails for £32.

My Review:
I tested the foundation for a whole day and I really loved it. The foundation has a runny consistency and it has a medium to buildable coverage. Whereas the CC cream is medium- full coverage. The finish of this foundation is more on the soft matte- radiant side. The foundation is ideal for those who prefer natural looking foundations.
The foundation is infused with luminous pigments (it has gold reflects). Your Skin But better foundation is very light weight compared to the CC cream. I prefer light weight, breathable foundations. This foundation is going to be your best friend during this strange time that we are experiencing. So to say, you can wear this foundation under your mask as it is breathable.
The foundation applies smoothly onto the skin. I have noticed that my pores looked less visible, and the foundation did a great job at covering my redness (I naturally have red cheeks). I used the foundation in conjunction with their heavenly luxe foundation brush. I highly recommend this foundation brush as it applies the foundation effortlessly and my foundation looks airbrushed. I did set my T-Zone with loose powder.
I have combination skin type, I have dry-oily skin. I get oily throughout the day, especially on my T-Zone. The foundation looked flawless till the end of the day. The foundation did a great job at controlling my oils. The foundation wore well, and it stayed in place on all areas of my face. I highly recommend checking this foundation, it looks very beautiful and natural on the skin and it evens out the complexion well.
